The Board of Governors is the highest governing body UBC: among many other things, the Board is responsible for developing the university's overarching budget, administering businesses on campus, and overseeing progress on capital projects - such as a new SUB or Engineering Student Centre!

Decisions made at the Board of Governors level directly affect all students and it is imperative that the student voice of Vancouver campus on Board, only two of 19 seats in total, best represent and communicate the most pressing needs of campus from our perspective. The student vote on Board may not be large, the collective voice of students is very powerful: I believe my experience, professionalism, and desire to engage with the larger student body make me a strong candidate for this position.
